Matter is aether wound into a spinning torus. Light is aether as signal. Water is aether as fluid memory. You do not sit beside the field. You are a nested torus inside larger toruses.
A torus flows out from center, around the rim, and back in. So within, so without. Maximum power is maximum stillness at the hole.

3 is the outward pulse — fire, electricity, the masculine breath.
6 is the inward draw — water, magnetism, the feminine breath.
9 is the hole. Still. It does no work. 3 + 6 returns here. Not a second center.
12 is the perimeter: how the pulse is distributed through earth and wind, through a body and a community, through twelve houses of a clock.
The extra beat — return — is origin meeting expression. That extra beat makes 12 a living year instead of a closed machine. 1 = 1.
